For a long time, I had a career that looked great on paper. I was making good money, had stability, and as a single mom, the idea of leaving felt incredibly risky.
But I eventually realized that success is not just about having a good career or achieving the next big goal. It is also about creating a life that feels aligned with who you are and what matters most.
In this conversation on The Joy Experiment, Roberta and I talk about my journey of leaving my W-2, learning to trust my own judgment, working through perfectionism, and giving myself permission to treat big decisions as experiments rather than permanent choices.
I am still learning and figuring things out along the way, but I hope this conversation reminds you that you do not need to have everything figured out to take the next step.
Sometimes, giving yourself the freedom to explore a different path can change more than you ever expected.
